"IE tab" extension distorts the web page rendering capability of the Chrome browser.

Recently, got the Chrome browser updated to the current version 4.0.249.78. I also installed the "IE Tab" extension, among several others. With the new upgrade, I started facing difficulty in getting full access to the yahoogroups site. For example, after logging into yahoogroups.com when I clicked on a hyperlink to access my group's page, I got garbled pages generated by the browser. Even while attempting to login with 'Connect with facebook' for CNET news site, a similar garbled page was generated by Chrome. But the earlier version of Chrome, without the extensions, had no problems with these sites. (However, these sites were getting rendered properly within the "IE tab" extension, albeit, with some script error messages.)

On doing a small ivestigation, I discovered that the "IE Tab" extension, which I had installed immediately after the upgrade of the Chrome browser, was the culprit. After I had uninstalled this extension, Chrome was back to normal. It rendered both the websites properly like its earlier avatar.

Surely, there is some conflict between the "IE tab" extension and the Chrome browser version 4.x. The bugs need to be ironed out for this extension. Also, its worrisome that this extension seeks access to the entire computer.
